An unexpected gem with a twist

The location was perfect for us, just a short ride to nearby attractions. The staff was wonderfully accommodating, always ensuring we had what we needed.

However, the breakfast left much to be desired—many items were cold or poorly presented, and the area itself needed a thorough cleanup.

The room was super clean, well-maintained, and had no weird smells. It felt like a cozy home away from home!

Just a reliable pick for a weekend excursion in Onalaska with decent value for money. The food offered at breakfast looked good and had a lot of variety, including hot items. Be prepared for some road noise from the freeway outside the guest room window.

Pool open late is a plus!

We stayed for 2 nights and really liked the location! The pool was open till midnight, which was awesome for a late-night dip. They were doing some upgrades, but it didn't bother us at all. Just wished the carpet in the room was cleaner—had to be careful walking on it. Breakfast had a cool snack bar.

Couples looking for some comfort

Front desk lady was a gem she quickly sorted us out when we had a little trouble with our room. The breakfast was fresher than you’d expect I actually enjoyed those biscuits and gravy.

A bit on the steeper side but it got the job done.

Request a room on the side away from the highway for a quieter environment during your stay.

my stay at baymont by wyndham la crosse was delightful! the price was great, the location was perfect for our family activities, and our room was clean. the staff were incredibly nice, and to my surprise, i got an upgraded room which was an awesome bonus!

I was really impressed with how clean everything was, especially the room that had a comfy king-size bed and a microwave. The indoor pool and the cozy leisure room were great for winding down after a long day. The only small thing was the shower head making a bit of a whistling sound, but it didn’t ruin my stay at all! 😊

great access to scenic parks and trails for city strolls

I found the hotel super convenient for exploring the nearby Pierce Park and the beautiful Great River State Trail, both just a short drive away, which made my city strolls quite enjoyable during my stay. plus, the kind staff and clean room added to the pleasant experience.
